STEM SIG Informal Meeting: Hopes for the Academic Year

We’d like to invite you to an informal STEM SIG meeting on 24th September for a chance to share hopes for the next academic year i.e. How are you hoping to continue to develop your STEM EAP teaching / research / CPD over the coming academic year?
We hope this will be a chance to share ideas, make connections, hear different perspectives and each reflect on our own direction for the year ahead.
STEM SIG Events 2024-2025
We are planning STEM SIG activities for the year ahead. If you have an idea for a session you would like to suggest, please get in touch.
In particular, we are looking for people who might be interested in leading a Three Minute Paper session. If there is an EAP paper that has inspired you recently and you think might be of interest to the group, we’d love to hear from you.
We are considering having a book club. One option might be Hank’s Exploratory Practice in Language Teaching, but it would be great to have other suggestions of books that might be of interest. What would you like to read? If you have a suggestion, please get in touch.
